The  Dyson 966098-01 DC65 Brushbar Assembly is a replacement two-piece brushbar that agitates carpet fibers to dislodge dirt, dust and debris so it can be sucked into the vacuum. When the bristles wear out, your brushbar will need to be replaced.

This brushbar has two short tabs on the end caps.  If you need one that has a short and long tab, go to the 967040-01 brushbar.
