The Vacu-Maid WW629X Metal Inlet Valve with Microswitch has one pin inside the inlet, which allows the central vacuum system to automatically turn on when the hose is inserted into the inlet. It is a microswitch inlet that is compatible with most hoses, with the exception of direct connect hoses.
This inlet should be used with a Vacu-Maid SF290 Back Plate for proper installation.
