The S3600 is a Cyclonic unit which means that bags and/or filters are not necessary. When the unit is on, the cyclone effect created in the dirt can allows the larger heavier dirt and debris to be collected in the dirt can while the smaller dust particles are carried out in the exhaust much like a Dryer vent. Suction power at the hose is more consistent without the restriction of dirty filters. A patented AirChannel™ allows for an optional disposable can liner to be used making emptying the large 38 Qt. capacity dirt receptacle virtually mess free.
The S3600 is a split canister design and has (2) 2-stage 7.2” Tangential Bypass motors. The motor pod can be hung away from the living area while hanging the dirt canister in an easily accessible location which helps to keep the noise level down. A muffler is included. Sound rating is 78 db. An auto-stop device called a Brush Interrupter stops the motor at the end of the brush life so that the brushes can be replaced without having to buy a new motor.
This is a 240V unit and it is powerful enough to handle larger homes up to 18,000 sq. ft.
