The Vacu-Maid S2400 Central Vacuum unit is manufactured in the USA. It is constructed of rolled galvannealed steel making it tough and durable. It also has a special powder coating which resists corrosion for the life of the vac unit.
The S2400 is a Cyclonic unit which means that bags and/or filters are not necessary. When the unit is on, the cyclone effect created in the dirt can allows the larger heavier dirt and debris to be collected in the dirt can while the smaller dust particles are carried out in the exhaust much like a Dryer vent. Suction power at the hose is more consistent without the restriction of dirty filters. A patented AirChannel™ allows for an optional disposable can liner to be used making emptying the 38 Qt. capacity dirt receptacle virtually mess free.
The S2400 has a 2-stage 7.2” Tangential Bypass motor. An auto-stop device called a Brush Interrupter stops the motor at the end of the brush life so that the brushes can be replaced without having to buy a new motor. This Vac unit is ideal for larger size homes up to 10,000 sq. ft. Sound DB rating is 66. It has a 10-year warranty.
