The Vacu-Maid P400 Central Vacuum unit is manufactured in the USA. It is constructed of rolled galvanized steel making it tough and durable. It also has a special powder coating which resists corrosion for the life of the vac unit.
The P400 with DC800 Dirt Can is a sealed HEPA bag unit. When the unit is on all of the dirt is collected in a large 6 gallon clothe bag. Suction power is never lost throughout the life of this machine becasue after the mess free bag is changed, all filters have been. The P400 is a split canister design and has (2) 2-stage 6.6” Tangential Bypass motors. The motor pod can be hung away from the living area while hanging the dirt canister in an easily accessible location which helps to keep the noise level down. Sound rating is 70 db. This is a 240V unit and it is powerful enough to handle larger homes up to 18,000 sq. ft. 10 year warranty.
