The Vacu-Maid DC500 dirt can with disposable bag is compatible with motor pods sold under the Vacu-Maid, AstroVac and Imperium brands. The DC500 is generally used with power units that are motor pods only. The motor pod can be installed next to this dirt can or in a different location that is better for noise reduction, outside exhaust and power supply. Because this dirt can has a bag, outside exhaust is not required. This dirt can can be installed in an area that is convenient to change the bag. 

The DC500 can use either a paper bag or HEPA bag. The bag is inserted into the top. The DC500 is 12" in diameter. If a larger can is needed, the 14" DC800 is available.
