The Universal Standard hose is crushproof and has no switch. The vacuum unit turns on as soon as the hose cuff is inserted into the vacuum inlet. An electric powerhead cannot be used with this hose.
The hose is available with three type of curved wands: friction, universal button lock and button lock for NuTone and VacuFlo wands. See the picture that shows the position of the button lock.
The Universal Standard Hose is available in 30, 35, 40 and 50 foot lengths.
