The CX1000 Cordless Power Nozzle provides a solution for cleaning carpets without the need for an electric hose. It works with Hide-A-Hose central vacuums and central vacuum systems that utilize standard and low voltage hoses. The built-in wand fits hoses that have a standard button-lock.
A DC motor powers the roller brush and fan which combine to provide superior performance when compared to an air-driven powerhead. The rubber bumper and wheels protect smooth floors, walls, baseboard and furniture. A squeegee strip traps debris on smooth floors. A bright LED light illuminates the cleaning bath. Weighing only 11 pounds, the CX1000 is easily carried throughout the house.
A 44 volt lithium ion battery is mounted to the wand. The battery powers the Volt for 60 minutes of run time. A battery life display tracks remaining run time. 4 green lights and 1 red light indicates the battery is fully charged. The green lights gradually turn to red. When there are no green lights, the CX1000 will run for a short period of time, then shut off.
One end of the charger plugs into a standard electric outlet, the other into the battery pack. Charge time is 2 hours. The battery is warranted for 2 years. The rest of the Volt is covered by a 4-year warranty. The CX1000 is white. It is available in black under the Volt brand name.
