This combination rug and floor tool is designed for cleaning smooth floors as well as carpet and rugs with a short nap.  Debris is agitated by a bristle strip inside the tool.  Lint on carpet clings to a felt strip in the center of the nozzle.

Unlike standard combination tools, there is no need to flip a lever to change from cleaning smooth floors and carpet.  This style of attachment is not as effective on smooth floors as the ones with the lever. 

Combination rug & floor tools are ideal for areas that have both low pile carpet, smooth floors and no pet hair, and it is desirable to use one tool for cleaning all surfaces.  For optimum cleaning, a powerhead should be used for carpet and floor brush for hard surfaces.

This attachment has a swivel neck that enables it to fit under furniture.  This tool fits all standard 1 1/4" wands with or without buttons.
