This deluxe combination rug and floor tool is designed for cleaning smooth floors as well as carpet and rugs with a short nap. To move the brush down for smooth floors or up for carpet and rugs, simply depress a lever on the attachment. The stiff nylon bristles clean smooth surfaces excellently and won't scratch hardwood floors or other delicate surfaces.
Ideal applications for the combo rug/floor tool are areas where there are both suitable hard surfaces and short nap carpet or rugs that requires light cleaning, and a single attachment is desired. However, often, better cleaning can be achieved by using a powerhead for carpet and rugs and a floor brush for smooth floors.
