The Hall Sensor Belt Protection protects the lifetime belt by shutting the motor off if there is a jamb in the roller brush. Once the jamb is cleared, you can restart the vacuum and continue your cleaning without damaging the belt. The brushroll is made of chrome steel for durability and has two rows of replaceable brushes to guide the dirt and dust into the vacuum bag.
