The Riccar R10SAND Sand Trap Lightweight upright vacuum has a 5.5 amp motor with two speed settings. There is a 5 year warranty and two visits for tune ups under the Red Carpet Service plan. The brushroll is made of steel and has two rows of replaceable brushes to guide the dirt and dust into the vacuum bag. The lifetime belt is protected by the Hall Sensor Belt Protection system which protects the belt by shutting the motor off if there is a jamb in the roller brush. Once the jamb is cleared, you can restart the vacuum and continue cleaning without damaging the belt. The handle tube is made of aluminum. Wearability is enhanced by the polycarbonate bottom plate.
