The Nutone PurePower PP600 Central Vacuum Hybrid Power Unit has been discontinued.  The appropriate substitute is the PP6501.

The PP600 has a single stage motor that delivers 600 Air Watts of cleaning power. A multi-directional vacuum inlet, metal mounting bracket and 6 foot long power cord make installation easy and convenient. The metal housing and polymeric debris pail make this unit designed to last.

The PP600 has Sealed HEPA filtration for the cleanest indoor air quality.  Hybrid Technology means that this unit can be used as a bagged or bagless system. The large pail latches flip open so that you can remove the pail quickly and easily making maintenance a snap. With a six gallon capacity, the debris pail typically only needs emptying every six months.

This central vacuum unit has built-in sound absorbing material that allows for quieter operation.  The sound rating is 68 db – no muffler required. The PP600 is ideal for homes up to 7,000 sq. feet.  8 year warranty.
