The NPS103WH is a retrofit for 3 wire intercom systems designed to be weather-safe and for use with the NM100 System. 

Communication with the master station and other room stations allows the user to answer the door directly from the patio station eliminating the need to run to the door for a guest. Features include audio source on/off, remote scan, and built-in controls for radio functions including power, memory channel selection, and music and intercom volume. 

The NF300PWH frame/mounting plate is needed if replacing an old speaker with a flush mount (sticks out from wall about 1/2"). The NRKS200PWH Patio Surface Mount Box is needed if adding a new patio speaker or replacing a surface mounted speaker (sticks out about 2-3").
