The Miele SES130/1 Deluxe Electric Hose is designed to fit the S5 Capricorn with serial number of 114312225 and prior.  This is a crushproof electric hose that has an on/off button for the Powerhead, an on/off button for the machine, +/- buttons to adjust the suction power and a light-up display to show you your current suction setting.

It is direct connect on both the wand and machine ends, so there are no cords to plug in.  This crushproof type of hose will not crush like wire-reinforced hoses, is smooth on the inside to maximize air flow and has a swivel handle that prevents kinking.

When the hose is replaced on older versions of the Capricorn, the electronic unit included with this hose must also be replaced.  As this repair can only be done by an authorized Miele dealer, it can only be purchased in our store.

For S5 Capricorns with serial numbers after 114312225, the SES130 Deluxe Electric Hose is needed.

 

Miele does not allow the SES130/1 hose to be purchased on-line because some Capricorns require replacement of the electronic when the hose is changed.  This part needs to be installed by an authorized dealer.  We can install this part in your Capricorn and provide you with the hose.
