The soft carbon fiber bristles are angled at a 45 degree angle to sweep dust and allergens directly into the vacuum's airflow instead of just moving it around your home. The bristles on the front of the brush are spaced wider apart to prevent sticking to the furniture. The felt strip down the middle of the brush protects polished or delicate surfaces from getting scratched and helps guide the dirt into the dust bin.
