This unit is a pure cyclonic design with a split canister. The power unit is separate from the dirt canister, allowing the option of placing them in two separate locations. For example, the user can keep the dirt canister nearby for easy access, and mount the power unit further away for noise reduction. The power unit is foam-lined, which also helps reduce motor noise.
The cyclonic action allows large, heavy particles to fall into a dirt canister. Small particles stay in the air stream and are exhausted outside. Without the restrictions of a dirty cloth, paper or foam filter, vacuum power is able to be more consistent at the end of the hose for full sustained cleaning. The patented Air Channel allows the use of plastic liners in the dirt canister to make emptying more efficient.
