The Vacu-Maid SR62 Central Vacuum unit is manufactured in the USA. It is constructed of rolled galvannealed steel making it tough and durable. It also has a special powder coating which resists corrosion for the life of the vac unit.
The SR62 is a Cyclonic Inverted bag unit. When the unit is on, the inverted bag is drawn up inside the unit and acts as a secondary filter. When the vac unit is shut off the inverted bag drops down and the debris is collected in the dirt can. The permanent filter bag is made to resist mold or mildew. A patented AirChannel allows for an optional disposable plastic can liner to be used. The poly liner makes emptying the dirt receptacle convenient and mess free. The dirt receptacle has a 38 Qt. capacity.
A utility valve on the front of the unit lets you plug a hose directly into the power unit making it great for events like cleaning out the car. The SR62 has an 8.4” 2-Stage by-pass motor and a sound level of 68 db. The 14” diameter canister has improved filtration and is specially designed to accommodate its high air watt motor.
